Velluto Osteria takes its name from the Italian word for velvet — a nod to the texture of the experience we aim to deliver. Not extravagant. Not stiff. Just honest, refined hospitality backed by cooking that has something to say.
Anchored by an open kitchen, warmed by natural oak and deep green velvet banquettes, and lit for every mood — we designed Velluto to transition as easily from a working lunch to an unhurried dinner as any room in Columbus.

Velluto Osteria occupies a thoughtfully designed corner of Bridge Park — a neighborhood that's become the most interesting dining destination on Columbus's west side.
Inside, natural oak surfaces and deep green velvet banquettes set a tone that's warm without being formal. Lighting transitions from airy and bright at lunch to intimate and amber-toned in the evening — the same room, different moods.
When the weather allows, the seasonal patio extends along the Scioto River — thirty seats with one of the better views in Dublin.
