How It Started
Mike Started with One Truck and a Promise
Mike Brandt spent his early career working for large electrical contractors across Central Ohio — learning the trade, passing his Master Electrician license, and quietly noticing something: homeowners were being overcharged, rushed, and left with half-done jobs.
In 2004, he pulled his first permit as Brandt Electrical. The promise was simple: show up on time, do quality work, charge a fair price, and treat every customer like a neighbor — because in Dublin, they usually are.
Twenty-plus years later, that one truck has grown into a full team of licensed electricians. Mike's son Ryan joined the crew in 2019 and is now a licensed journeyman himself. The shop is still in Dublin, the trucks still have local plates, and the promise hasn't changed.

Mike Brandt
Mike has been wiring homes across Central Ohio for over 25 years. He holds an Ohio Master Electrician license and personally oversees every major installation. He coaches Little League in the spring and still picks up service calls himself.
Ryan Brandt
Ryan grew up watching his dad work and officially joined the company in 2019 after earning his journeyman license. He leads the EV charger installation team and is currently apprenticing for his Master's license.
Derek Kowalski
Derek has been with Brandt Electrical for 11 years and specializes in panel upgrades and service entrance work. He's known for keeping the cleanest installs on the crew and never leaving a job until the customer is completely satisfied.
